Old Blackheath Post Office

Built in 1910 on the corner of Govetts Leap Road and Wentworth Street, this building served as the Blackheath Post Office until 1996. Originally there were stables at the rear for the delivery of mail by horseback to such far flung places as Evans Lookout Road! Nearer addresses were serviced by bicycle.
Now used for retail purposes.
