Leaning to the Sun

Had a sneaky lie in this morning and expected to wake to a light covering of snow, but no.

Sunshine!!!

Early lunch (or late breakfast) and then we kitted up and headed out.

The clouds were scudding across the sky so fast that just as the warmth from the sun seeped into your bones, the sky would darken and the temperature dropped like a snowflake. It really was bone chilling cold! The moor in the distance was dusted with a light sugar coating.

The light was beautiful and the shapes and concepts of the clouds were amazing. Stepping stones across the sky for unseen giants and herringbone clouds. And shadows. Shadows created by sunshine.

It was good to be out :o)
