I must down to the sea

My ageing flattie is not very well at the moment and we’re a little worried about him. Currently we’re fitting in with whatever he wants to do. Having done a 9km run and just come back from the shops, I didn’t even have the time to put down my handbag before he demanded that I took him for a walk. Or, rather, he took me. He knew exactly where he wanted to go in today’s 29 deg of heat, and led me to the beach, where we spent a little while digging and gazing out to sea together before it was time to meander back.
