Sand Storm
Before leaving the Gower peninsular we took a look at the northern coast. We happened upon this beach of Llanmadoc. It was just enormous and, at low tide, as big as it gets. The wind was strong so the sand was being whipped along at a phenomenal rate creating wonderful patterns. Even standing still for a very short time would result in a mini sand dune formed against the foot!
Weather poor again, so getting back to our starting point took a while and we were glad to get to the motorhome and put the kettle on!
We carried on, driving past Weobley Castle - a very old fortified manor house. Quite amazing. Despite the rain we really enjoyed looking at the ruins of this once splendid place. (extra)
Then on to our site for tonight, dropping by a giant Sainsbury's for additional provisions. Today is our 29th wedding anniversary (and yes, he had forgotten!) so best steak and bubbly for tonight's dinner.
