Snow in Edinburgh

It was a torrid day in Edinburgh braving moments of blizzard on the streets as we went out on some errands that couldn't wait; to the printers for the flat manual and area guides, the post office for the passport forms, the shop that does the passport photos to check their facilities and opening hours, the solicitors to get the finished photos counter-signed...we have one bite at the cherry tomorrow in the passport office and didn't want to rely on them recognising us from the photos in the existing passports that were taken 10 years ago when things, that is, facial features, were generally more 'up'!

Now in Largs with Mum, before our appointment in Glasgow tomorrow.
