We went out today to celebrate mum’s 75th birthday (which is actually on Tuesday). Ted, Jo and the boys came over and we had lunch at the Dog and Duck although we weren’t allowed to sit all together and had to be split onto 2 tables.
Everyone came back here afterwards and we had champagne and birthday cake (made by Jo). The boys had a great time playing in the garden and went home with a bag full of old books and football shirts from Alfie.
It was a lovely to be together and a really nice way to celebrate mum’s special day.
