much spoken in the local rag this week about the cooncil redesigning the centre of town, again...in the hope that edinburgh becomes a city of cafe culture...a kind of barcelona of the north to paraphrase and parody their grand design...i think that the gloves and hat give it away, somewhat, that we are not and are fairly unlikely to be much competition for those places with gentler climes...
