Parched

The Mistress whipped back early this morning to Delta Lakes to get this blip after the sprinkler ban was enforced in Renwick yesterday. She remembered seeing how dry it was up there on the hills around the area, and thought this would let others see it.

It's dry. Very dry. Renwick, where we live, are now not allowed to use the sprinklers to water lawns or plants, and if we don't get rain soon, then there will even be a hose ban. The mistress said that as long as she can keep watering her vege garden she'll be happy.

So - this is one of the many hills/fields around Marlborough where not a patch of green is showing. And it's not just Marlborough - it's the whole of New Zealand. We are used to drought in certain areas of New Zealand from time to time, but not the whole country.

It's meant to rain in the weekend - The Mistress is out there doing the rain dance every day!
