Fun at the coast.

Today we went to the coast, more specifically, the area around Bridlington.
We set off around lunch time and it took about an hour to get to our first stop, which was a car park overlooking the sea near Sewerby, the nicest part of Bridlington in Darren’s opinion.
We had a walk along the coast, past the cricket pitch and the Golf course until we came to Danes dyke, a chalky cliff area of the coastline, unfortunately the sea was in and there wasn’t much space to walk on, when the sea is out there is a nice Sandy beach, once you’ve walked over the large white pebbles.
We made our way back to car, I had some water and a treat, Darren had a banana. We then went down to the beach, the dog area and I had a bit of ball chasing and the occasional paddle in the sea.
We did walk to where all the amusements are and the harbour but didn’t stay long before making our way back to car.
We then drove to flamborough, that’s where I am in the photo. It’s a great place and as it was after tea time when we got there, it was very quiet.
We spent an hour at flamborough and then drove to Bempton cliffs which is an RSPB birds reserve. It’s a fantastic sight to see all the Gannets and other sea birds, well it is for Darren, I wasn’t that fussed.
Darren did get to see a puffin, everybody seems to want to see a puffin.
We got back to caravan very late, it was that late all the football had finished.
