Hot and Dry
It was not easy to keep the few plants I have in pots watered in this heat. Not so good to use all that water either. I think there daisies were on their way-out anyway. The tomato plant looks OK. Much better temps today altho we’d always say 86F is hot. And the AC is running. I read that this heat dome thing was more rare than a once in a 1000 year event. But definitely global warming (and humans) are part of the cause. Adding it to my “disasters of the last 15 months to be done with” book.
Signed off with home health today as I”ll go to outpatient PT next week. It’s all a matter of strength and balance. I had had no experience with this medicare surprise before ..was signed up before leaving the hospital and have nothing but praise for how it works. Saw 4 different nurses, an OT, and 2 PTs. They were excellent and full of good suggestions. My only complaint was that one new to home health nurse, used to running an ER, couldn’t make the INR (blood thinner) machine work. But we still managed to avoid a trip in to a clinic. The PT’s are always cheerleaders and were very encouraging. As far as I can tell, it’s all a matter of not falling over again..ever. Is that even possible?
