Silent Cinema

Spending the weekend in Bo'ness doing all sorts of touristy things including visiting a number of events in the Festival of Silent Cinema. Went to a fab lecture this afternoon on Silent Cinema before attending the Gala evening where we supped champagne, munched canapés and watched a wonder 1925 film called 'Stage Struck'.

The technicolor film starred Gloria Swanson in a comedic role and probably one of the best films I have seen and it was made even better since it was accompanied on piano by Neil Brand, who is one of the worlds best Silent film accompanists.

Check out KryptoMart's blip of Bo'ness Motor Museum which we visited this morning, which has an amazing Bond memorabilia including an Aston Mart DB6 and an DB8.

Enjoy the weekend!
