Sheep proof?

While Leila heads to Rotherham for work, Tony and I take a walk along paths, through woods, onto the moors, and down to the Norfolk Arms.

There’s a wealth of stiles, steps built into walls, gates with various closures, but this entrance to a pasture seems exceptionally tenuous. The presence of the sheep on the pasture side may be testament to its efficacy, or simply a sign that sheep prefer pasture to mud.
