Ramblings from Zambia....

lesson time

Coming home from Chitipa, we stopped in the town of Karonga to visit one of their Early Childhood Centres. It is based in a church which has a primary school beside it.

Like most primary schools in Malawi, there are not enough classrooms and many of the students have to meet under trees, which is not practical in the rainy season. Fortunately today was a sunny and very hot day, so classes were going on as usual.

Not a great blip as I was quite far away but it gives an idea of the situation!
