Sarkkilanjärvi

After the busy June lots of maintenance to do, started by washing  and servicing the slurry trailer. The weather is so hot that even working with the pressure washer doesn't help much.

In the evening driving around in Hämeenkyrö with my friend, who is on a long cycling trip on an itinerary recommended somewhere. I couldn't persuade him to change the route to visit us, so I drove to his motel and took him on a tour to see the best landscapes around.

Our first stop was in Mahnala (extra #1) for ice cream at Yrjölä berry farm's barn café. Next was the bird tower by lake Sarkkilanjärvi. Not many birds around, but the view was fantastic (in the main bip). The last stop was Myllykolu (extra #2), the little farm where Nobel-winning author Frans Eemil Sillanpää lived as a child.
