Golden Hour on Golden Stone

The warm honey sun washes over the Bath stone buildings on the edge of the Market Place in Devizes. These are beautiful examples of various architectural eras, a little Victorian here, a lot of Georgian there.
If you're a fan of English period architecture, particularly Georgian, you will find Devizes an absolute delight. The evidence of a wealthy past surrounds you as you wander around the town and you're surrounded by tall, elegant Georgian houses with rich red brick or Bath stone facades.
