Working on a project

Art day today. We finished our maps of Whatcom County and reviewed them today. All three were cool and each really expressed the character of the artist who drew it. Now we move out further in our map making journey to Washington State. I spent much of the morning working on mine. It includes wildlife found in this state. Part of the assignment is to create texture using words. If you look closely you’ll see the animals’ outlines say what they are. I’m nowhere near done with them or with the map. As always this project is making me think and imagine.
