Abstract Thursday - "Water"

Ingeborg's chosen theme for her AT challenge this week is "water". My Editor reminded me that we bought a bird bath from the RSPB shop at Carsington Water (see the extra on this blip) a week past Tuesday: it was in a flat-pack and we hadn't yet put it together so today seemed like a good day. It's made of resin but designed to look like old weathered verdegris-embellished metal. Having made it up we filled it with water and I wobbled it while taking photos - so what you see here is reflections of the clouds in the sky on the rippled water surface. It's straight-out-of-camera apart from an increase in the contrast - no fartnarkling necessary.

One of the shots had a pattern which looked like the twisted face of a weird gremlin, and I nearly blipped that one, but then my Editor noticed that this one not only has a face (looking down and left from the centre) but also a distorted "body" - and can you see a hand near the top right corner trying to cling on...?!
