Spindle Tree

Euonymus japonicus 'Aureomarginatus' or Golden Euonymus. (aka Japanese Spindle tree).  In the garden at OGH, and looking a picture right now with its bright red berries.

Apparently has quite a high toxicity level, but then what garden plant doesn't.

Spent some time in the garden with Mary this morning - we did an inventory of the tools, and walked around a bit.  It was really nice to have some quiet time with her, without a dozen other volunteers snapping at our heels.
