One of the pluses.........

.........of living in my prison  house is that ,whilst others may watch veteran cars pass by , I get to see veteran ships pass by mine ;-)
And none more delightfully flambouyant than the Clydes favourite prima donna the Waverley streaming by packed with  maw,paw an ra weans headed for Rothesay and the Kyles of Bute on a day trip ; enjoying the sun ,sandwiches and Irn Bru :-))
And perhaps the occasional attempts at Harry Lauder impressions :-((

But earlier in the day slipping quietly out of the Clyde on its way to the outer Hebrides with much less fanfare the dumpy shape of the old ferry Columba that has metamorphosed into the swanky Hebridean Princess.
With its comfy cabins and not a sandwich in sight :-D
