74 Squadron Phantom

This had a special paint job to celebrate the Tiger Meet in 1993ish

The sad thing was this aircraft was ripped to bits by a bulldozer 2 week after the photo was taken

it is a 74 Squadron Phantom F4J just before the squadron was disbanded interesting story behind this particular aircraft a number of them were bought from the USA to replace the Phantoms sent down to the Falkland Islands. They weren't bought new we could tell that by the patched up bullet holes left over from the Vietnam war.
