Poorly day

Katie woke up at 430 with quite a fever. She slept for a little longer, woke up at 6 and got up. She was very snuggly and wouldnt eat anything, although she wanted to. By 7.30 she'd gone back to bed. She got up about 8.45 and sat on my knee for an hour, feeling rather hot. She was asleep again by 10. She slept til 11.30 when we all went out to the beach for some fresh air. She snuggled in the mei tai, not at all interested in or well enough to manage walking. She was dozing away. She did manage a mini milk ice cream and that perked her up a touch. In the cafe for lunch she managed to walk to the toilets and back a couple oft times, but that was it. She fell asleep on my knee as we ate. She went back into the meitai, got in the car all snuggly, sang a few songs with granny and grandad until she fell asleep for the remaining 90minutes. When we got to our house, she took herself straight to the sofa, grabbing her blanket and curling up with her friends. Not herself in the slightest.
