Saturday 18 April 2009: A Grand Day Out
Fantastic finish to our walk to Chatsworth, as we watch a hot air balloon rise majestically into the sky, the boys cheering it on its way with cries of "get on with it!" and "at last!". Well, whoever was launching it did seem to do a lot of faffing around.
The Derbyshire countryside is strikingly green and beautiful, and our walk takes us through the almost unreal village of Edensor.
Back to the holiday house for fish and chips (from the friendliest chipper ever) and lashings of cider. And then we were all pretty much ready for bed - must be all this fresh country airzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
