Hemerocallis

They are just coming into their own now and some of the beautiful colours I chose two years ago are appearing one by one - just as the hemerocallis flowers appear. Also known as the day lily, each flower lasts for a day and is then replaced by another, thus giving the appearance of continuity. Fascinating. Astrantia ‘Buckland’ in the background.
