First off thank you all so very much for your kind words, stars and hearts. You made my day!

This morning I took Mehitabel in for her annual check up. She is almost 13 years old and is showing her age. She is a ”grey legs.” It’s a term I had heard for older animals, wolves and dogs mainly. But it turns out some older cats’ legs go grey as they age as well. That was true of Fiona Queen of the Universe in her later years and it’s true of Mitty too. We are waiting for the test results to see if we can figure out why she is losing weight. She’s still able to leap and run and eats well. But she’s lost two pounds since her last visit.
