Just Another Puffling

It was a calm misty morning at Sumburgh Head - and things are clearly on the change. 

The guillemot colonies are quiet and almost empty (see the extra) as the birds head off to sea for winter. 

And it felt as if there was a puffling appearing out of pretty much every available crevice and burrow. I was particularly pleased to see this puffling appear - over the last few days I've watching the parents bring back sand eels to this crevice, it's good to finally see the recipient!
