Mary Mwanza

Mary is our second longest serving worker on the farm.
She is a truly amazing woman, married with six children and 33 years old.
She is the breadwinner for the extended family, never misses a day.
When she first came to look for work in 2007, I was there. She was like a skeleton, just skin and bone and starving.
Without any formal education she has the best knowledge of anyone on the farm as to what we are about and grows a large variety of the best plants we have on her own land. She also holds the role of treasurer of the farm worker savings scheme. No greater respect that to be trusted to take care of people's money.
