Emergency Blip.

Yesterday's trip to the Montmorillon Impot office yielded dividends and a phone call this morning summoned us to collect the signed form. It has taken months and months but finally it looks as though we can sort out our double taxation problem. We just need HMRC to get a move on now and refund three years of back tax.

Celebrating with a bottle of Cider. We know how to live it up.

Now we need to sort out our Cartes des Sejours. We applied for our replacement cards at the end of October and have reached the Very Twitchy level.

Puzzles continue to consume our time. Last night we took a drink and a fresh puzzle to bed. It turned out to be an interesting, fun and informative puzzle and so we worked at it until after midnight and solved it. Poetry and Physics together, what's not to love! It has meant that today has been low key and what with the trip to town, the need for an emergency Blip. This is, BTW, a very good Cider indeed.
