Lichen..

We’re told the air is so incredibly pure up here in the Highlands that lichen flourishes. It certainly has on these pines. Another beautiful woodland walk this afternoon after our trip to Aviemore and a ride on the Strathspey Steam Railway. No heavy rain today.

We’re sitting in the hotel lounge by a wood burning fire this evening.
