Optical illusion

It looks very much as if the crane which is there for the construction of the building on the empty site on the Cowgate underneath South Bridge (created by the most recent Great Fire of Edinburgh) is interfering with the top of Old College.

This is, however, but an illusion.

Phenomenal number of things to do before getting the red eye to Amsterdam tomorrow.

Sorry I'm not commenting at the moment. I'm scanning the horizon for a break in the clouds. Nothing obvious yet, but I keep hoping.
