Queen Anne's Lace Season

Everyone here agrees that this is the best Queen Anne's Lace we have had in a long time. Must be because of all the rain after the excessive June heat. All along the highways they are blooming. If they have been mowed down they returned with shorter stems.
The main blip today is a close up of a just blooming flower head. There is a folded up one in the back too.
The Extras are of a stand of the QA's on the north side of my house.
And the "lawn" on the southwest side that has already been scythed once and returned. I expect in a few weeks they will have to be cut down for good.
Of course, they are deemed "weeds" even if they are named for royalty. Just we remember Queen Anne and her cutting down at the end of her season!
