Some comings and goings today.  

Lola out for her walk with R, David at the Podiatrist mid morning, Pool engineer back out to check the pool because as always happens after it's been serviced, it develops problems!  Thankfully it was easily fixed and the temperature is now rising again.

In the afternoon David returned the courtesy car to the VW dealer in Perth and picked up our car at last, complete with brand new engine!  

VW head office had wanted parts to be replaced on the original engine even though there was no guarantee it would fix the catastrophic problem that had arisen.  Thankfully the VW Dealership have been fantastic (especially as we didn't purchase the car from them) and went ahead and ordered a brand new engine and set aside workshop time to fit it.  Head Office finally caved and now we are back on the road.
