Cliff Hangers.

A lovely day.  ArcaneSpark had taken a day of her holidays so we had a whole day out.  We began by taking the kids to Mayfield Alpacas.  What a fascinating place, indoors lots of interesting animals, tarantulas, meercats and even a rock python just like Katkatkat's etc.  Outside Alpacas (obviously) goats and a Llama all very friendly and happy to be hand fed.

Next was a very good lunch at Fox house, out on the moors.  The best gammon I have had in a long time.

Then to work off the effects of lunch we headed for Surprise view.  The kids loved the walk up through the Birch woods, lots of hiding in the bracken.  The boulders were also appreciated for scrambling up to get a different view point.

The blip is a shot of Emily, ArcaneSpark and Daniel sitting on a ledge on a large out crop.  The ledge is the one with people standing on it in the extra.  It isn't that scary or difficult from the back.
