Harvest Poppies, Morrigan and New Cotswold Stone

Janet nipped off to do some village gardening with the local team, and I took Morrigan off for a cuppa at Kemble Airfield - which turned out to be closed for runway tarmacking! Ah well, a ride is a ride.

On the way back I dropped into Ozleworth, where I'd remembered seeing poppies in the barley fields. I also took a shot of Morrigan with her new chrome rack, against some new and beautifully laid dry stone walls.

Today I'm mostly thinking about a people given hope of freedom from radical tyranny, then dropped back into it without any hope at all. I was too young to form political opinion in 1975, but this image...
