Greenock

My travels took me to Greenock today, and another marvellous clock tower. This one is sitting proudly outside what I presume to be the old Custom House. And it's telling the right time. It's so near the water, surprising there's not more evidence of rust.
Extra is looking across the water to the Crane at Inchgreen dry dock, and the site of Ferguson Marine, of CalMac ferries omnishambles fame. Big rusting vessels still sitting there. Painful, and surely avoidable.
It was sunny, but the air above the water was far from clear. Nice to be out and about.
