Second Best Town in Britain

I popped into the Bakewell Deli (aka Caz's) to drop off a poster for the Bakewell Baking Festival and there was an interview taking place amongst much jollity with BBC radio Sheffield.
Bakewell has been voted the second best town in Britain by the Times and a reporter was going around finding out why.
There's loads of reasons, the beauty, the location, the history, the heritage of baking and all the great shops and people that make up our wonderful town.
The reporter seemed very amused when they told her that I was the mayor, she didn't think that mayors dressed in beenie hats and had earrings!
The programme is on saturday morning, so it will be interesting to hear.
