THE OLD MILL

The Old Mill in South Perth was built in 1835 and operated as such until 1859 producing 680kg of flour per day, at its peak, for the European Settlers of Perth.  Since ceasing production, the mill has been used as a hotel, a police station and a residence.
It's the first time I've visited The Old Mill and I was amazed at its history.
We were able to climb the steep stairs inside to see remnants of the mill's mechanics.
Thanks to RockArea for hosting today's challenge.

And thank you for enjoying the brussel sprouts with me.
