Spiced Beans

After weeks away, all the runner beans are very long and unsuitable for eating , so all have been turned into Delia's Spiced Pickled Runner Beans, with extra boiling to make sure all those tough bits soften up.  Son R entertained  his friends in our house while we were away and kindly left a load of onions that were past their best and are now in the mustardy mixture with the runner beans. Final output in extras. Thanks R
