The Lozarithm Lens

Flower Friday (Friday 20th August 2021)

I had to desaturate the reds in this lobelia to make it look in any way credible. I mainly wanted to capture the raindrops during this heavy shower.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Goldie and the Gingerbreads - The Skip (recorded 12 February 1965, IBC Studios, London W1)
Goldie and The Gingerbreads: Goldie (Genyusha Zelkowitz aka Genya Ravan)(perc), Margo Lewis (Margo Crocitto)(organ, bass pedals, vcl), Carol Shaw (Carol MacDonald)(gtr, vcl), Ginger Bianco (Virginia Panebianco)(dr, perc, vcl)
I have waited a long time for a CD devoted to Goldie and the Gingerbreads, having bought all their Decca singles in the sixties, and one has finally appeared on the Ace label, and was acquired on this day. This instrumental was on the B-side of That's Why I Love You and features Margo Lewis on B3 Hammond organ while playing bass with the pedals, with additional piano from session player Nicky Hopkins.
