Brown Argus...

One of those days when a walk in nature is very much needed!! The day started early as we had a Sky engineer booked to come visit us - between 8 & 5! - so we had to be up just in case we got the first slot! We didn't! He came after 2 in the end, but at least Sky is fixed now!

Our electric kept tripping this morning and we narrowed it down to the washing machine.... the mystery of the water in the utility room the other day has been solved!  So it then flooded everywhere so a mad dash to get towels and mop up the damage before it made things worse! It's not even a year old, so still under warranty so we phoned to book an engineer to come fix it... no dates available until 3rd September!!!  god knows what the state of the clothes currently locked in the washing machine will be in by then! And it looks like handwashing in the sink for the rest of our dirty washing until then... joyful!

So I escaped to the local downs as it was a lovely sunny day for a little wander and butterfly bothering! Wasn't let down as saw this lovely brown argus, lots of speckled woods, a couple of wall browns, holly blues and lots of white! A few dragons about too so that raised my spirits! Thank you nature!!
