In the Bleak Midwinter......

......oh no, wait, it's almost April! Please can someone tell the weather to behave!

Lots of snow overnight, several inches at least, and still the occasional snowflakes falling. Football is obviously cancelled all weekend so nice to have some extra free time.

Yesterday we had a lovely surprise. The doorbell rang and when I answered it there was our friend and ex-neighbour Paul. Paul and his family emigrated to Australia about 5 years ago and he has 'popped' back to visit family. Although we stay in touch by e-mail it was really lovely to see him. He could only stay for a few minutes yesterday but is coming round this evening for a proper catch up!
