Happy 65th birthday Sheila

We dropped off a care package on #3 daughter’s step, and present for Luke’s recent birthday before we ventured south of the Tyne.

We met Sheila and Mike at Gibside for a walk then had a picnic in the walled garden. I took an Ottolenghi pie thing made with courgettes and a spicy tomato chutney, plus salad. The cake was also made with courgettes and was very rich. I took the champagne we were going to have with them at New Year but then that didn’t happen as we weren’t allowed visitors in the house. It was lovely to see them after so long.
