Beinghere

Bindweed

It has taken over some of the bankings and slopes here. It just spreads at such a speed and covers everything.

I picked up Maggie from nursery early afternoon and walked home here chatting away. She held Geordie’s lead some of the way.
As soon as we got in she wanted her usual smoothie, which I duly made. Unusually she didn’t want to drink it. Then I realised her cheeks were a bit rosy. She said she was tired so got comfy on the sofa, but didn’t sleep for long, maybe fifteen minutes. It was soon obvious that she was running a temperature. Her big sister Hannah is just recovering from a virus, so it looks like wee Maggie has maybe got it too now.
She was miserable for the rest of the afternoon, wanting nothing to eat, and just wanting cuddled.
I got her temperature down with medicine, no clothes, and windows opened. She felt a bit better then and ate a mini milk ice lolly.
She and Geordie went off to bed about 9 o’clock. Fingers crossed she sleeps well and feels a bit better in the morning.
