Sneaky Bagpipes

The bagpipe player is one of many distinctive carvings on the pillars of Rosslyn Chapel, where we attended a wonderful concert of South American Baroque Choral and Renaissance Spanish Music, sung by Excelsior per cantum, the chamber choir of Heriot Watt university.

As last year, those of us with a brass neck suitably equipped took photos in the chapel afterwards, knowing that these are forbidden to paying visitors.

And to cap it all, prior to the concert the shop was open and souvenirs were purchased without the requirement of twisting any arms or bribing asking B&S nicely for a free pass.
