Flower Friday . . . Coffee Table Flowers

This evening street drinks will resume at our house.  I don't know how many will want to brave the rain.  The house has had a cosmetic clean and tidy and of course there are flowers.  
This morning those of us who don't go to work assembled outside Fred and Pam's house to sing 'for they are jolly good fellows' to celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary.  Fred is soon to be 95 and of course I can't disclose Pam's age.  Despite a few ups and downs they live in their own home and drive their little cares and maintain their independence.  Both their son's live away.  They built the first house in our little street so they have seen the changes over time.
