A time for everything

Saturday
Quite a pleasant day today - sunny and mild. We had a short rehearsal at church this morning as the anthem we are singing tomorrow (Palm Sunday) is for choir, children's choir, hand-bells, piano and trumpet. We had a run through with the children's choir Wednesday evening, but we hadn't practiced with the hand-bells and trumpet before. Also, the sound booth people need to get the levels right. From there we went to Lowes to get a few more things for our master bathroom that Roger is currently working on. Then it was back home for lunch and phone calls with our family in England - Roger called his parents and I spoke with my sister. After lunch we headed to the Little Miami bike trail and got in a 14-mile ride. This shot is of one of the contributory streams flowing under the trail to join the Little Miami. There were several other riders out enjoying the sunshine and we even saw three kayakers on the river - I prefer it to be somewhat warmer before I go canoeing or kayaking! We had to make the most of the sun as we have snow in the forecast for tomorrow - though we seem to be on the edge of the system, so we may get more rain than snow - time will tell!
