This abandoned looking building is actually one of the oldest buildings still standing at Otaniemi, quite close to the campus area of the university I graduated from.

It's also the most beautiful red brick building in the neighborhood. The whole of Otaniemi is spoiled by the ugly buildings from the most over-appreciated Finnish architect and designer, Alvar Aalto. The worst part of it all is that our beautifyl school was renamed after him - now who on earth would like to study in Aalto University instead of Helsinki University of Technology in Espoo.
