The Bayfield Walk

A very nice Blipmeetwalk this morning; W and I met our friends Bom and GracieG for a walk around the Bayfield estate with a stop for coffee and freshly baked cheese scones in the woodland cafe part way round.  We were lucky with the weather; a beautiful morning after all the rain of yesterday.  This truck was in the car park at the cafe; presumably someone who was here for the 40's weekend on the railway and has stayed on for a few days.

I've added an extra; at the start of the walk there are a few retail units in old converted farm buildings; an art gallery, a cafe, a very good deli and a shop selling binoculars and telescopes.  That one has planted a full field of sunflowers behind the shop with the sole purpose of attracting birds, so that their customers have something to look at to test out their proposed purchase.
