White Stag rocks

Difficult decision late afternoon, to have a cooked dinner or pack a picnic and head for the coast. A no-brainer really - why spend time slaving over a hot stove when you can sit by the sea as the sun goes down? So we headed for Bamburgh, stopping at Budle Bay on the way  to watch the birds, including the curlew in the extra.

The Blip (best viewed large), looking to the northwest, shows Bamburgh lighthouse, Lindisfarne Castle in the distance, and the famous white stag painted on the rocks.
