Pulled From The Fire

For the Abstract Thursday challenge of "Simplicity", I wanted to use this vase that my husband turned from a log that he literally pulled out of the fireplace at his folks' place after his dad threw it in, not realizing that Dana wanted it for turning!  The burn marks turned out to be an asset.
