Orange shirt day: predictable choice of clothing

Today is Orange Shirt Day in Canada - our National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. The idea is to give Canadians a chance to learn about and reflect on the abuses committed at Residential Schools, and to honour and remember the experiences and loss of the First Nation, Inuit and Métis children who were stolen from their families and placed in these schools. The orange shirt is to signal support for the children and was inspired by Phyllis Jack Webstad’s story.

Ottawacker Jr. looks a little unsure about it, even if it did give him an excuse to wear his favourite Liverpool away shirt.
